Sara Iacovelli has been volunteering with VIDA since 2014 and is currently the VIDA Count Director and President of the Board of Directors. She grew up outside New York City and slowly migrated west until she found herself in Alaska. She works as an elementary school teaching assistant, and sometimes as a bartender, depending on the season. She currently lives in Anchorage, on Dena’ina Athabascan land.
