Sandy Naing is a fiction writer living in Brooklyn, NY by way of the San Francisco Bay Area. She studied creative writing at UC Berkeley and UCLA Extension and received her BA in English and American studies from Wellesley College. Her work has been nominated twice for the James Kirkwood Literary Prize and has been recognized as a finalist by the Esalen Emerging Writers’ Fellowship and SLS First Chapter Contest. She is currently revising her first novel, which she workshopped at Tin House and the Yale Writers’ Conference.
