Lisa Allen is a writer, editor, and librarian based in Kansas City. She was a Michael Steinberg Fellow at the Solstice Low-Residency MFA in Creative Writing Program at Pine Manor College and holds two MFAs from the program: one in Creative Nonfiction and one in Poetry. Her essays and poetry have been published in the anthologies Listen to Your Mother: What She Said Then, What We’re Saying Now; Feckless Cunt; and Dine and the journals Bacopa Literary Review, Lily Poetry Review, 3Elements Review, and Midway Journal. She was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2019, co-edits the anthology series Maximum Tilt, and ‘grams and tweets at @backtoallen.
