2013 Count Interns
Rebecca Shuford is either a native New Englander or a native Southerner, depending on your perspective. She graduated with a degree in English from Wellesley College–an education she now supplements with ample reading of anything she can get her hands on.
Jessica Brenn is from the East Coast, though her wanderlust has taken her to Ireland, Vietnam, China and beyond. She recently earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from Pennsylvania State University, where she was an editor for the undergraduate literary magazine, Kalliope.
Shari Caplan is a Brookline based poet, actress and curator of the event series The Theatre of Words and Music. She has been published in Paper Nautilus and was a featured reader at the 2013 Massachusetts Poetry Festival. Shari is currently pursuing her MFA in poetry at Lesley University.
Allison Combs is a former native of Western New York, Allison currently resides in Oxford, Mississippi with her cuddly pit bull, Mischa, and is a graduate student at the University of Mississippi, majoring in English and Gender Studies.
Maggie Cooper recently graduated from Yale with a B.A. in English and now teaches middle school students how to tell a metaphor from a simile. She is rarely seen without a cup of tea, a book, or a writing utensil.
